Hard Disk Management
Almost five years ago, we began the original manuscript for Hard Disk Management using our brand new IBM XT. With a 10-megabyte har disk, a floppy drive, and several newly minted versions of DOS, it was apparent to us that PC technology had changed the way we must work in the future. PCs certainly had not replaced human like many of the technophobic had predicted, but the had clearly had become yet another resource that had to be managed. What we didn't envision, however, was that books on the concept of hard disk management would take up an entire section in a book store and spill over into the shelves containing One Minute Manager. Hard disk management concept have not changed much since that time, but the technology has moved so far forward that management of a hard disk system has become an absolute necessity.
