Total Access Giving Customers What They Want in an Anytime, Anywhere World
In today's modern society , a child's experience is one of total access: cell phones, fast-food outlets, jet travel, satellite TV in the SUV, superstore, the internet. Consumers aren't the only one living in the world of total access. Access goes both ways: Online or Offline, transaction data go into the net works where CEOs have everything had their fingertips. The author argues that marketers must shed their marginal role as image creators and take on the brave new role of managing this new infastructure. Competitive advantage will come from engaging the entire business in this total access network-making marketing a mission-critical, enterprise-wide resposibility.
