This overall structure book of the second edition remains the same. In it the writer try to blend theory with practical examples to allow students to apply those theories. However some changes have been made in response to requests and observations by readers, for example key concepts have been added at the beginning of each chapter. Useful web sites are also included at the end of each chapter. New case studies are included, others have been reviewed. The cases have been carefully selected to illustrate an array of organisational types and operating environments. Also practical examples, throughout the text have been replaced or updated.
